 Don’t fancy your chances of getting lucky unless you’re one of the couple of thousand surfers, boarders or skaters. They’re tanned, healthy, super fit and extremely talented, and you’re a staggering, sunburned mess.
Don’t try and emulate the surfers and skaters. They might be able to pull off gravity defying stunts, but you can’t – even when you’ve had nine pints of Strongbow.
It’s not quite the The Burning Man festival in Arizona, where temperatures rise to 120 degrees, where shade can be hard to find and where nudists suffer The Burning Schmeckel, but Newquay in the summer is deceptively hot, and heat and alcohol is a bad mix. Be careful!
